Salobre Golf Resort is the only resort in the Canary Islands with two golf courses of 18 holes each, located in the salobre hotel resort hotel that is located within the salobre golf course, in this course is the Salobre Old Course and the Brackish New Course.
Salobre New Course It was built in 2018, designed by Ron Kirby, 18-hole course with par 70. Its course was made to fit in its environment of volcanic rock, turning the game into a challenge, capturing the natural beauty of the south of Gran Canaria. making it an absolute must for every player who loves to play golf in unique locations.
Hole 5 represents the New Course par excellence, you feel it as you approach the tee at Salobre New Course.
A Dogleg to the right, a Drive navigates over this beautiful volcanic rock canyon towards a wide fairway where the ball lands.
A second shot with a medium long iron to approach a very narrow and well protected green, achieves par on an excellent result on this hole.
This course is a complement to the Salobre Old Course, with a not very long course being a constant challenge for the player of any level, the course boasts of having the best greens on the island, always being a topic of conversation at hole 19.
Salobre Old Course It was designed by Roland Favré taking advantage of the typical valleys of the ravines in the south of the Canary Islands, offering magnificent views of the sea and the mountains, opening every week of the year from Wednesday to Sunday.
Salobre Golf Resort has created for its clients a space to complement the experience and to help them improve the game, this space is a modern building equipped with the latest technology for the analysis of their strokes and the subsequent choice of the material that best suits to swing. Trackman System will verify the way of swinging through TPI technology.
It also proposes a magical enclave, balls watching the sunset and improving your touch of put or chip called the Practice Mile.
Salobre Golf Resort offers its clients a golf Academy aimed at all types of public, the courses are adapted to all the needs of its clients, it also offers Golf Clinics that are taught both to companies and groups, The clients of salobre hotel receive the first free notions that are held once a week, and for the youngest salobre golf resort offers group and individual children's classes. This Academy offers numerous programs tailored to all of its students. To make the classes even better, their clients will receive all these classes by the PGR professional and teacher since 1992 Flavio Surín who will be in charge of helping, and analyzing the game in order to enhance the skills of each player and identify their deficiencies.
